10,000 Hits Needs Free Gifts

AYITL has reached over 10,000 hits.  WooHoo!  Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read about my crazy life.  It's a little nutty; can be a little boring; and I've realized that there are so many of you out there just like me.  It's kinda nice.  I do wish I knew who had been the 10,000th hit, I might have sent them a prize.  Prizes are fun aren't they!  (getting something for free is always fun)

I'll tell you what, in honor of reaching 10K views in less than 6 months we'll have a random kind of drawing.  I have made these and given a bunch away over the last few months.  If you want to be included in the drawing, post your favorite memory of summer below.  (Not on Face Book!)  It can be as an adult or child.  Just something where you were celebrating life!  I'll get the children to pick a number & that's the person who will win.  I'll get to read everyones postings, it will be fun.

Here is an example of two of the jars I have made.  (they are the
ones filled with candy) You can let me know what kind of
candy you like & I'll ship it with the jar.  :)

I'll keep the contest open through tomorrow 12pm CST.  So let me know what your favorite summer memory is!  I'll post the winner on tomorrow night's posting.  :)

My children love to see the jars come out because that means there is candy in the house, but you can put flowers in them as well; it will be your jar & you can do whatever you want with it.

It's a beautiful day; it's the last week of school; I'm about to cook dinner; and of course, I'm...

Celebrating Life!

  1. Okay, so I love give aways, so I am, of course, the first to post.
My favorite summer memories are always around a body of water of some sort. I love the lake, the beach, the Caribbean, anywhere there is water. I love spending time at any of the above locations with my family. We have some awesome memories and I am looking forward to many more. Catching lightening bugs, playing football, and just sitting by the lake are just a few from last summer that have me excited about this weekend.

  2. My favorite summer memories involve the beach! My grandparents (my mom's parents) would rent a beach house for a week and my family and my uncle's family would spend the week together. We would spend the entire day on the beach, playing in the water, on the sand, fishing, etc. In the middle of the day, we would take time out for lunch and rest by playing cards in the house. I always had the best time on those trips.
