A Year in the Life

There is a place in Tampa my children insist on going to when we visit my brother & his family... AirHeads .  It's a must if you have children who love to jump on trampolines.  I've talked about this place before, but of course we went again, because we were in Tampa, and this time Leah could jump because she's not pregnant this year.  :)  I would love to have an AirHeads in our hometown, but as of right now, we don't have one, so we just enjoy the one in Tampa.  BTW...My nephew is to die for!  I could eat him up.  His picture is below. There are a few weird things you need to know about me:  Although I love the ages of my children now, and would never want to go back to when they were little bitties. Even though I don't want my children as babies anymore, I LOVE babies. There is nothing better to put on your face than new baby feet.  They are so soft! Smelling baby lotions and powders is not the same smell as a new baby.  I've tried. I could smell new babies all day and be content. If they could replicate new baby smell I would buy it by the gallon! Happy birthday Henry Cotton Lowe IV!  I don't think I could be happier...even if I was twins!  Today is a wonderful, happy, super fantastic kind of day.  I have a new nephew!  He was born today at 2:19 PM.  He weighs 8 pounds 9 ounces, and we have been waiting impatiently for him to arrive since June.  I think he's beautiful!  Mom and baby are doing great. Cotton called me last night to let me know Leah's water broke at 11 PM (eastern) and they were headed to the hospital.  They had planned to go in Monday January 16th for a scheduled induction, but the baby decided not to wait.  Children will do that sometimes.  My older three had their cell phones on them today so I could send them updates.  Each one sent me texts wondering if the baby was born.  I think they're as excited as I am.  Hopson has been texting me too.  There is no greater joy than when a baby is born!  What a wonder...
