Something for Good Friday
This is going to be a short posting. Today was a no event day for me. One thing that is important though is that today is Good Friday, which is part of the most Holy Week of the year for Christians. It's the week when Jesus paid for sin and all for all.
Trying to help children understand the death & resurrection of Christ can be hard. Why did Jesus have to die? How did He take on the sins of the world? How does it all work?
There are cookies you can make to help explain this to children and adults alike. They are called Resurrection Cookies. If you've never made them, I highly recommend it. We have made them and I have to say, it's great fun to eat cookies first thing Easter morning & talk about the tomb being empty.
