Congrats to the Winner

I want to congratulate Button on winning the jar. She taught both big boys 8th grade social studies & is a wonderful teacher.

Today was just a normal busy mommy day. Trying to cram in as many things as possible before the kiddos get out of school tomorrow. Yea for summer!!!

I'll try to do another drawing soon, but until then, I'll be..,

I have a little bone to pick with Team USA.  Hey y'all, will you please sing our national anthem when you win the gold medal?  I mean, you're standing there on the top level of the podium; the gold medal is hanging around your neck; our flag is being raised above all others; our national anthem is the one being played; and you are just standing there.  You are a citizen of the greatest country in the world.  Sing, please sing.  If you're not going to sing, then I want you smiling and/or crying like crazy. Herding Cats

 I love this!  It's so true.  :) Being a leader of teenagers can sometimes be like herding cats.  I don't mean this in a bad way, but think about it:  cats have their own way of seeing and doing things.  Like cats, each person has their own personality and brings their own set of circumstances to the table when they serve, and it makes it interesting to say the least.  The teenagers I get to work with are amazing, but they are like cats.  :)  I really don't care for cats, but I love these cats! You want to know why I love them?  Here are my reasons why... They make me laugh a lot :  they love each other and the children we work with.  They laugh, kid around, and laugh with each other, but also lift each other up when they need it.  They love on kids who are shy or feel lost in our services.
